Oliv's Journey: Phuket, Thailand.

Like my blog post name, I want to share about my trip to Phuket, Thailand on 13rd-15th May 2015. I went there with my family for the first time in foreverrr *singing Frozen's song*. Actually we went to Bangkok first before and after we went to Phuket. But we were in Bangkok just for a while so nothing much to tell when we were in Bangkok. It was really a fun trip, spent quality time with my family. We booked 2 rooms for the first time in my life (before this, we always only booked 1 room for the whole family (my family members aren't many). I stayed at Grand Mercure hotel. It's a really nice hotel. For the first day, I ate Korean food, and the rest last 2 days I ate Thai food. Most of Thai foods are spicy, but we can ask for less spicy. Sadly, I didn't take photos of the foods because the foods weren't cute to took photos (and I regret it now). Haha. So here's my pictures, hope you enjoy them :)

Dorothy Perkins (event): Style Heroes

Last few months I attended Dorothy Perkin's event: Style Heroes. That was a talk show event with the speaker: ci Sonia Eryka and kak Dewi Utari about their collection (Style Heroes). I was so glad can join that event. That event was so cool. The best things about this event were I got discount to bought clothes at this shop, got free eyebrow wax from Benefit Cosmetics, and I had opportunity to talked and took pictures with ci Sonia Eryka (one of the most humble top fashion blogger in Indonesia) and asked so many question about fashion job, mirrorless camera, blog, etc. I post picture with her and my OOTD at that day below. Take Me to Somewhere Nice

Today I'm gonna post about my activity on November 9th, 2014 (again I say, sorry for the super duper late post. So many queue posts that I haven't publish it). I joined transparent clutch workshop. The workshop was taught by top fashion bloggers, kak Claradevi, ci Sonia Eryka, and also kak Kitty Manu. I was so happy I could meet kak Claradevi for the second time and ci Sonia Eryka and kak Kitty Manu for the first time, (I just knew kak Kitty Manu at that day). We had fun during the workshop. Nowadays, I'm in love with clutch. Feel like I wanna buy many types of clutch but I have no place anymore to put those clutch (if I buy it). And trasparent clutch is becoming a trend nowadays so I was so excited to joined that workshop. The workshop was held at Jetski Cafe, Pantai Mutiara. It was the very first time I've been there since I was kid. I wish I could live at Pantai Mutiara because the houses there have sea view, I like seeing sea. At Jetski Cafe, there's bazaar called North Bazaar. Some fashion bloggers like ci Anastasia Siantar, kak Claradevi, ci Sonia Eryka, and ci Paula sold their items too (their clothes which are they don't want to wear anymore). I bought a cool blazer and a vintage shirt at kak Claradevi's booth. I also met ci Michelle Hendra. When the workshop began, the weather was so hot so kak Claradevi bought us a coconut drink and it's so delicious, thanks kak :) Sadly, I forgot to take the bottle's picture. I took some pictures with all the fashion bloggers there, I post it below after my OOTD pictures.

The view is like in another country, isn't it? If I'm not mistaken, the building over there is Baywalk Mall.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream (review)

This is my first time I do product review on this blog. So today I'm gonna review about The Body Shop's BB cream. The Body Shop isn't having one BB cream only, they have some BB cream products but I'm going to review about Tea Tree series. Actually this is my first time I'm using BB cream.

Sunday Blues

Lovely Pink

Actually this is a last year post but I published this just now because of many queue posts. I wore this outfit to attended my friends' wedding party. I love this outfit because it's so me (pink and feminine). I was so in love at the first sight when I saw the decoration. It's pink and floral! I like floral so much, especially pink or purple floral (eventhough I like pink, but still my favourite colour is purple). That was the very first time I had worn thick fake eyelashes since long time ago. Anyway, I danced in that wedding party with that wedges. I'm not a dancer, and believe me I'm very bad at dancing but there's flashmob in that party and I was chosen to dance with my friends. That was my first dance in these 7 years. So I directly went to that wedding place after holy matrimony at 3 pm, and yes, I was there until so late (around 10pm). My foots hurt because I wore that wedges for 10 hours, can you imagine? That was the longest time I've ever been! But I so enjoyed the wedding party because so many friends there, include my best friends. The party was so fun, and the foods were delicious :))

   

Short Hair don't Care

Hi guys, let me introduce you my new hair cut. Actually I wanted to make my hair grew longer, and now I have shorter hair cut than before. It's long short story about this. So let me tell you about this. 

Since the first time I had short hair cut, there's a hair model that I wanted to have but my hair was too short to had that hair model. So the choices were I let my hair grew longer then I cut as same as that hair model or I had shorter hair cut but with that hair model. And I chose to have shorter hair cut because if I let my hair grew longer, maybe I didn't want to had hair cut anymore. And now I confuse want to have long hair or short hair. Because long hair looks elegant but short hair is cool too. Sometimes when I see my friends' long hair, I want to have long hair too, but at the same time I love my short hair. Ah let's see later. I think I'm addicted to have short hair :P

At first after I had this hair cut, I felt weird when I looked at the mirror because this is the shortest hair cut that I've ever been. I wasn't familiar with this short hair cut because for me this is too short. Does my hair looks like a mushroom? Lol. But as time goes by, I start to like it :)) So short hair don't careee.

Happy Me

Hi guys, guess where this was? Yeapp, it's at Central Park Mall. That was the very first time I took pictures there even I've been there so many times. My friend, Silvi, helped me to took pictures. Actually I went to CP (Central Park) to learned psychometrics with Silvi (she taught me), but because I wore this nice outfit and the mall wasn't crowded, so I asked Silvi to took me pictures. So let me took pictures first before studied. Psst, I just bought that vintage glasses at that day before I met Silvi at CP.

Indonesia Fashion Week 2015

On last Saturday (February 28th, 2015) I went to Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) to watched Indonesia Fashion Week (IFW) 2015 with my friends, Lucy and Yessica. Same like Jakarta Fashion Week last year, I got the invitation from my friend, Yessica because her school is at Bunka (fashion design school). So we watched Bunka's fashion show at that day. We arrived at JCC around 12 pm, then me and Lucy separated with Yessica just for a moment because Yessica was waiting for her friend. Then me and Lucy did window shopping, we looked at so many booths and I was looking for Chiel's booth. After around 30 minutes-1 hour finally I found the booth accidentally. Before we went to JCC, I stalked chiel's Instagram so I had already choosen which shoes that I wanted to buy. If I'm not mistaken, the price of this shoes is around 400k, not so cheap but not so expensive too. The shoes are so unique, I have the picture when I tried the shoes. I'm going to post it below, just scroll down this post. The fashion show started around 2.30 pm and finished at 3 pm. Actually Yessica had 2 VIP invitations, but because we came there in 3 of us (read in Bahasa: datang bertiga, lol, I dunno how to speak in English), so it's not fair if 2 of us used 2 VIP invitations, and 1 person didn't use the VIP invitation. So we just used the regular invitation, and the VIP intivations were useless. We can't be selfish with our friends, right? :) Then me and Lucy took so many OOTD pictures for our blog. I took pictures of Lucy, and Lucy took pictures of me. Thanks Lucy for taking me pictures patiently (because I wanted to got perfect pictures, yes, I'm a perfectionist). It's Bali!

Hi guys, here's my trip to Bali last year (sorry I forgot to post it). I was so happy for this long vacation (June 20- July 1, 2014). I just want to share my happiness to you all. Now, I'm going to tell you the places that I went to. I stayed at my auntie's house at Nusa Dua. I love Nusa Dua because it's quite strategic to go to many beautiful places like Uluwatu, Nusa Dua and Geger beach, Water blow, Bali collection, Pandawa beach, Karma Kandala and Finns beach, Blue Point beach, Padang-padang beach, etc and many five stars hotels.
